Third Largest US Powerball Winner Named

The third largest ever Powerball jackpot of $337 million was won on 15th August 2012 and America was awaiting the announcement of the winner with baited breath. All that was known was that the winning ticket was sold at a gas station in the small town of Lapeer, Michigan, and so this led to reporters and news vans from worlds media camping out in the tiny town all hoping to be the first to catch a glimpse of the new multi-millionaire. And finally, on Friday 31st August, the Powerball winner came forward to collect his cheque, and was officially named as Donald Lawson, a 44 year old railway engineer originally from Arkansas.
